Where to earn karat and where to spend it: which items can be sold or stored, NPC selling and craft-and-sell profit, castle tax, storage, mail and personal shop rules, bags and stacks, timed items, gathering tools and Asmara coins. A badge shows how certain each piece of information is.

Two kinds of duration (Verified)

The tooltip shows two different lines: “Valid until” is a fixed calendar date and time when the item expires; “Remaining time” is the item's own counter.

(Verified) The most common validity periods are 30 days and 7 days.
(Verified) Items using “Remaining time”: 36 rental mounts (6/12/24 hours) and 4 24-hour wings.
(Unknown) Whether the “Remaining time” counter only runs while used or online is unknown.

(Verified) Shop rods (Simple Fishing Rod, Reinforced Fishing Rod) and Shiny Fishing Rod are valid for only 6 hours; shop pickaxes (Reinforced Pickaxe) never expire.
(Verified) Some Lucky Pickaxe versions last less than their name says: “(7 days)” 1 day, “(14 days)” 3 days, “(30 days)” 7 days; other versions with the same name do last 7/14/30 days. Check the duration in the list above. Lucky Rods, with no duration in the name, last 1/3/7 days.
(Verified) The “(1 hour)” in a potion's name is the buff duration; the potion itself does not expire:

When time runs out

(Verified) When less than 4 hours remain the game warns “expires within N hours”.
(Estimate) An expired item is destroyed (“will be destroyed in N minutes”, “Destroyed”).
(Estimate) An expired item cannot be equipped in that slot again.
(Verified) Timed items cannot be put in a personal shop.
