I usually make consumable items. What, you need armor? Then you better find someone else. Visit an armorer for that.
Are you familiar with the enchanting scrolls? There are two kinds, the Weapon Enchant Scroll which can enchant your weapon, and the Armor Enchant Scroll which can enchant your armor.
You can use them in the same way you use gems. First, right-click on an enchant scroll you want to use then left-click on an item you wish to enchant.
