Do buffs stack? (Verified)
When you use a buff item, the game checks it against your active buffs. What decides is not the effect type but whether the buffs belong to the same stacking family, and which of them has priority within it.
- The same buff is already active → blocked The item cannot be used. Game message: “You cannot use this item: a similar item is already active.”
- Same family, the new item has higher priority → confirm, replace You are asked to confirm; only the one with priority works. Confirmation: “Are you sure you want to use …?” Game message: “If several consumables with the same type of properties are used, only the strongest effect acts.”
- Same family, equal priority → confirm, replace You are asked to confirm; the new one replaces the old one. Confirmation: “Are you sure you want to use …?” Game message: “When two consumables of the same type are applied, the last one cancels the previous one.”
- Same family, the new item has lower priority → blocked The item cannot be used; it is not consumed. Game message: “Cannot be used: the better effect of the same type is already active.”
Almost all Experience, Platinum Experience and Fletta booster potions only block an identical potion. So Experience potions with different rates can be used together, while two of the same potion cannot. Whether their effects add up is unknown.
Priority does not depend on effect strength: items with the same effect can still block each other; longer and stronger versions usually take precedence. A refused item is not wasted.
Example · Lucky Day family
| Item | Effect | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Lucky Day (2 hours) | Item Drop Chance +15% | 2 h |
| Lucky Day (1 day) | Item Drop Chance +15% | 1 d |
| Luck Day (7 days) | Item Drop Chance +15% | 7 d |
| Super Lucky Day (2 hours) | Item Drop Chance +30% | 2 h |
| Super Lucky Day (1 day) | Item Drop Chance +30% | 1 d |
| Super Lucky day (7 days) | Item Drop Chance +30% | 7 d |

Tips
- (Verified) Almost all Experience, Platinum Experience and Fletta booster potions only block an identical potion. So Experience potions with different rates can be used together, while two of the same potion cannot; different versions of the same potion count as the same (examples below). Experience Potion (1 day) · Experience Potion (1 day) · Experience Potion (1 day) · Experience Potion (1 day)
- (Unknown) There are three separate Experience bonus types: normal (potion, ring, mount), Platinum (Platinum potion) and Lucky Flower (Lucky Flower, hair). Whether they add up is unknown; test it in game with the EXP bar.
- (Verified) Within the same family, priority decides, not effect strength. E.g. Lucky Day 2 h / 1 d / 7 d: all +15%; while the 7 d one is active the 2 h one cannot be used. Super Lucky Day (+30%) asks for confirmation and replaces the normal one. A refused item is not consumed, so it is not wasted. Lucky Day family · Lucky Day (2 hours) · Lucky Day (1 day) · Luck Day (7 days) · Super Lucky Day (2 hours) · Super Lucky Day (1 day) · Super Lucky day (7 days)
- (Unknown) Some versions of Lucky Day do not block each other; whether both apply is unknown. Lucky Day (2 hours) · Lucky Day (2 hours)
