The default slots are sufficient enough for most use but they can be expanded for more storage if you so wish. Of course, it's not free; you must pay the fee. So expand it only when you need to.
You must understand that you pay a fee when you deposit or withdraw from the vault. The fees are charged during each use, but it's a cheap way to protect your items.
Worry not about the items you deposit. I will make sure that they're safely stored. Just talk to me again when you need back any item you've already deposited. Oh, one more thing. You can withdraw an item at any warehouse regardless of where you originally deposited it.
If you want to instantly travel to another town, visit the warp master. Look for Cristina at the northern section of the town.
You can manage the access level for each guild member if you're a guild master. Open up the Guild Information window (hotkey G) for that.
